1. Exam and Tooth Preparation
Dr. Arnett Jabbour examines your tooth to determine the best treatment plan. After administering a local anesthetic, the decayed or damaged tooth structure is gently removed, preparing the tooth for restoration.
2. Digital Optical Impression
Instead of messy impression “goop,” a specialized CEREC Acquisition Unit takes a fast, precise digital scan of your prepared tooth using a small camera. This digital impression creates an exact 3D virtual model on our screen in minutes with zero gagging or discomfort.
3. Custom 3D Design & In-Office Milling
Using the CEREC 3D software, Dr. Arnett Jabbour custom-designs your restoration to match your natural bite and tooth shape. Once designed, the specifications are wirelessly sent to our CEREC Milling Unit. A solid ceramic block matched precisely to your natural tooth shade is sculpted in approximately 8 to 18 minutes, followed by a crystallization process in a specialized oven to ensure maximum strength.
4. Permanent Bonding (No Temporaries Required)
Once milled and polished, your dentist checks the fit and bite before permanently bonding the restoration to your tooth. You walk out of our Spartanburg dental office with a fully restored, natural-looking smile in just one visit.
